New Undergraduate Program Director Starting January 2026 – Dr. Khurrum Mughal
After more than two years of service, Dr. Yassine El Bouchikhi has decided to transition out from this role at the end of the year 2025 to focus on his academic activities as a faculty. During his tenure, Dr. El Bouchikhi led significant advancements in the program, including the digitization of several operations, the overhaul of the BBA assurance of learning processes for accreditation, managing growth of students and the program with the launch of 4 new concentrations, and the enhancement of both faculty and student engagement.
Dr. Khurrum Mughal
The new Undergraduate Program Director is Dr. Khurrum Mughal, he is an Associate Professor in Economics at SBA since Spring 2024. The BBA program is the largest program at AUI and is meant to continue expanding in the future. Dr Mughal will collaborate closely with Dr. El Bouchikhi throughout this semester to ensure a smooth transition before officially taking on the role in January 2026.
