Kind Reminder to all Faculty

  • As good practice, add your class timings and office hours to your Outlook calendars to simplify scheduling meetings. 
  • Please ensure that we have your correct contact information. (Mrs Nouhaila Bourray is the contact)
  • Please ensure that your office hours are on the SBAevents.online
  • Canvas needs to be used as the Learning Management System to track student progression through the course. Please use Canvas to mark student attendance. 
  • Course grades need to be maintained for 2 months in case of grade appeals. Please ensure you have a system for preserving assessment grades or submit physical copies to the administration.
  • Please anticipate and prepare for course continuity in case of contingencies such as weather or medical emergencies. If you are unable to hold class for any reason, please ensure that students and the Program Coordinator are notified in advance. 
  • If you are a faculty advisor and have been assigned mentees, please ensure that you are available, especially around deadlines such as for granting clearance.
  • AUI expects that you are present and available to students and for service on committees etc. for at least nine hours a week, outside teaching time. Please make sure you schedule your week accordingly.
