Required internship
Dear SBA Students planning for their required internship,
This message serves as an important reminder about the INT 4001 Internship Field Work course, a crucial step in your academic journey. To ensure you register correctly and maintain steady progress toward graduation, please read the following prerequisites and scheduling instructions carefully.
Course Details:
- Course Code: INT 4001 – Internship Field Work (for SBA students)
- Prerequisites: Completion of GBU 3203, ENG 2302, ACC 3201, and all French language requirements is mandatory before enrolling in INT 4001.
Scheduling Requirements:
- INT 4001 must be completed during the summer semester prior to your graduation semester, regardless of whether your graduation is planned for the fall, spring, or summer semester.
- The INT 4301 course, which focuses on professional portfolio development and internship reflection, is designed to follow immediately after you finish INT 4001. Therefore, you must successfully complete INT 4001 before enrolling in INT 4301. Failure to complete INT 4001 on time will result in a delay in your graduation timetable.
Important Enrollment Policy:
- In accordance with the Vice-President for Academic Affairs’ guidelines, “Incomplete” (I) grades will no longer be accepted during the summer semester. As a result, students are not permitted to enroll in both INT 4001 and INT 4301 during the same summer semester. However, enrolling in these courses during regular semesters (Fall and Spring) consecutively is allowed.
Action Required:
- To avoid any delays or complications, you are strongly encouraged to plan your internship schedule carefully, ensure all prerequisites are met, and fulfill all academic and administrative requirements well before the next registration period begins.
If you have any questions, concerns, or need further clarification about your eligibility or course planning, please do not hesitate to contact the program office promptly
Best Regards,
